Norm Crosby

Norm Crosby is a stand up comedian with more than 40 years of experience in show business. You may recognize from his numerous appearances in nightclubs around the country, from "The Dean Martin Roasts", or also as the host of the once-syndicated "Norm Crosby's Comedy Shop." King of the malaprop, Norm always speaks from his 'diagram' and drinks' decapitated' coffee. His confusing word play and twisted speech has been an audience favorite since his days on The Ed Sullivan Show. Although his performing schedule is full, he always makes time for charitable causes like The Muscular Dystrophy Association. He is among the most recognized and widely quoted performers in Show Business. Born and raised in the Boston area, Norm served in the U.S. Coast Guard as a radar operator in the North Atlantic on Anti-Submarine patrol, where he developed a hearing problem caused by concussions from the depth charges.

Because of this hearing affliction, Crosby had a special interest in the problems of the hearing impaired. He was the first National Chairman for the council for Better Hearing. He could have turned a deaf ear to life, but instead Crosby provided comic relief with his adroit misuse of words which bemuses and amuses the crowds.
